Trains and buses
Pescasseroli can be reached by train on the Rome-Avezzano railway line. Get off at Avezzano train station and take a ARPA bus to Pescasseroli.
Alternatively, you can take the Napoli-Castel Di Sangro- Pescara railway line. Get off at Castel Di Sangro or Alfedena and take a ARPA bus to Pescasseroli.

From Rome
Take the A24 motorway to Pescara until Pescina exit. Continue on Sr83 Marsicana to Gioia dei Marsi. Once you reach the village of Gioia Vecchio, cross Passo del Diavolo and then get to your destination.
Alternatively, once at Pescina exit toll booths, take Sp17 to Ortona dei Marsi and drive for 25 kilometers until you reach your destination.

From Naples
Take A1 motorway until Caianello exit. Then, take Ss85 to Venafro, continue on the Sr83 to Alfedena, Barrea, Villetta Barrea, Opi and Pescasseroli.
Alternatively, take A1 motorway until Cassino exit and take Ss509 to Forca d’Acero mountain pass. At the Opi junction, drive for 6 kilometers to Pescasseroli.

From Pescara
Take A25 motorway to Roma-Teramo until Pescina exit. Continue on Sr83 Marsicana to Gioia dei Marsi. Once you get to Gioia Vecchio, cross the Passo del Diavolo and you will get to your destination.
Alternatively, at the Pescina toll booths, take Sp 17 to Ortona dei Marsi and drive for 25 kilometers to Pescasseroli.
